Exciting times from the Wellings of Whitby site, we are out of the ground and the site is brimming with materials and activity.

Wellings of Whitby Development Update
Unground parking is taking shape, and second-level slab and rebar work are ongoing.
All new COVID 19 safety protocols issued under the updated Provincial mandate will be followed by Laurin and their subcontractors to ensure that all site personnel are able to continue work under the new guidelines.

The Wellings of Whitby construction is well underway. Mud slab, plumbing rough in and footings have started and are progressing well.

The Wellings of Whitby is making its way to street level. Bracing at second level of tie backs is nearing completion.

Excavation continues on site. The rains this week were heavy, but progress continues.
All safety protocols for COVID-19 and the job site are being enforced.

Construction is well underway and all the work is currently underground. We are focused on all aspects of shoring, lagging & tie-backs as it pertains to the main building.
Wellings of Whitby: Ground Breaking
Watch as the Wellings team utilizing social distancing and zoom technology celebrated the groundbreaking of the new Wellings of Whitby. We were joined by guests from around the world.
The welcoming was delivered by Peter Gregor, Nautical Lands Group, and included speeches by Kirk Hoppner, CEO Nautical Lands Group, Mayor Don Mitchell, Mayor Town of Whitby, Councillor Stephen Lee, Ward 1 Councillor Town of Whitby and Tom Falls, Triovest EVP, Commercial Central & East & Retail.
